My DSC is a new feature from Directory of Social Change.
It is an area where you can keep track of all your transactions through the Directory of Social Change website.
From your My DSC page you can access brand new free downloadable materials and exclusive special offers.
It's free to sign up, but you have to register to get access to these features.
If you already use the Directory of Social Change website to buy books and register on courses, you can use your existing login details. If you want to sign up, you just have to fill in the short registration form
My DSC Main Page
When you register for My DSC you will get a record of all your transactions in your My Items list. You will also be able to access the free downloads and exclusive special offers.
What is in the free downloads?
The free download material can take a number of forms.
For example, it could be:
- An introduction to a specific topic e.g. Public benefit
- "How to" step-by-step guidance e.g. Organising job interviews
- Focused advice on a more general area e.g. Writing succesful promotional literature
These documents are never more than two pages of a pdf, so you can get the basics in short, easily digestible chunks. They include quotes from other sources, and offer direction on where to look next if you want more information.
The downloads are all in pdf format, so if you haven't already got a copy, download the Adobe Acrobat Reader to be able to read pdf files.

What else can I find?
To make it easier for you to find DSC analysis and commentary on the voluntary sector, we will be making all our documents accessible through My DSC from now on.
This means you can get a more detailed insight into topics which we're passionate about.
For example:
- Transparency in funding terms and conditions
- Placing an emphasis on grants, not contracts in government funding
- Responsible regulation of charities
