Charity Centre offers a variety of catering options, from simple refreshments to a hot three-course lunch.
Food is freshly prepared on the day and we cater for special dietary requirements.
All refreshments and lunches are served in our basement Dining Room, which can also be used for informal breaks between 9.00 and 16.00.
You can order at the time of booking or up to two weeks prior to your event.
There is no obligation to eat in the Charity Centre – there are sandwich bars and restaurants nearby. We ask that you do not bring food to eat here.

All our menus are based on self service; however, we can provide additional staff to serve at £50 per order.
You can choose from 10 standard menu options listed below. These cannot be varied, but if you are a group of 20 or more, you are welcome to order from more than one menu.
Where sandwiches feature on the menu, we are also happy to vary the proportion of vegetarian and non-vegetarian fillings, and the proportion of brown and white bread (we normally offer three-quarters brown). There are also additional options, such as, extra salad and cakes.
If any of your delegates have special dietary requirements, we will do our very best to cater for them.

Catering prices are per head and are subject to VAT at the current rate.
MENU 1: Celebration hot buffet £13.50
- Choose from: Hawaiian Chicken with pineapple, cloves and spices;
- or the following vegetarian dishes: Vegetable Paella; Spinach Pancakes filled with Mushroom and Watercress served with sour cream; Chef’s salad with fresh dressing.

- Dessert: choose from trifle, fruit Pavlova

MENU 2: Celebration cold buffet £13.50
- Cherry Tomatoes and mozzarella
- Breast of chicken satay

- Honey and lemon chicken drumsticks

- Selection of salads with special dressing

- Selection of filled wraps
- Ciabatta and Focaccia Breads (allowing four pieces per person)

MENU 9: Charity Centre working lunch 1 £5.50
- Freshly made sandwiches, half meat (or fish) and half vegetarian
- Basket of fresh fruit

MENU 10: Charity Centre working lunch 2 £5.50
- Selection of freshly made filled finger rolls half meat (or fish) and half vegetarian
- Basket of fresh fruit

Additional options
We serve a variety of beverages in our Dining Room, including a range of Fair Trade filter coffee and teas, herbal tea, mineral water and a selection of biscuits. These are available at the following rates:
£3.50 per head for the day
£2.50 for two breaks
£1.50 for one break
Refreshments are provided in meeting rooms at an additional charge of £50 per room.
For one extra salad: add £1.50 per person; for two, add £2.50
For additional cakes: add £1.50 per person
For cakes instead of fresh fruit: add £1 per person
If any of your delegates have special dietary requirements we will do our best to cater for them.
Please note that the Dining Room is not available for use as an extension of the meeting space.

We will hold a room for you for 21 days on the basis of a telephone enquiry, pending receipt of our Booking Form and a deposit cheque for 50% (payable to the Charity Centre).
A pro forma invoice for the deposit will be issued on request. Deposits are not refundable. You can order the catering at the time of booking, or any time up to two weeks before the event.
