To provide the necessary skills to take accurate, appropriate minutes, with confidence.

Anyone who has to take minutes at formal or informal meetings, whether they are a complete beginner or already have experience. It does not specifically cover Annual General Meetings, selection panels, disciplinary hearings or case conferences.
Learning Outcomes
- Be able to judge the style and content of minutes appropriate for the meetings you minute
- Be confident in using a framework to simplify the process of note-taking during meetings and writing up the minutes afterwards
- Explore the relationship between the minute-taker and the chair, and how it can contribute to effective meetings
