The Directory of Social Change has just published a position paper about the changing nature of the relationship between the state, the private sector and voluntary activity.

Entitled The Interplay Between State, Private Sector and Voluntary Activity: A Vision for the Future, the paper challenges the fundamental thinking behind a number of government policies and practices towards voluntary activity. It makes a number of key recommendations to provide a new perspective on how the complex interrelationship between the state, private and voluntary sectors might be clarified for the future. In the paper, DSC Director of Policy & Research Ben Wittenberg highlights these issues.
