Description

The Guide to UK Company Giving, now in its eighth edition includes details of around 600 companies in the UK (100 more than in the previous edition) that give a combined total of around £762 million in community support to voluntary and community organisations, including £512 million in cash donations.

The book:

- Lists the top 100 companies in detail
- Lists the next 500 in a concise directory giving summary information
- Gives advice on what to be aware of when seeking company support
- Provides reasons why to apply to companies
- Suggests helpful tips on how to apply
- Gives help on how to attract a successful partnership or sponsor

The top 100 entries in the book give details of the nature of the company, its main directors and contact information, the company’s community giving policy and levels of giving (cash and in-kind).

Also given are examples of charitable organisations receiving help. These entries also include employee and payroll giving, sponsorship and cause-related marketing, the company’s charity of the year and partnerships.

The next 500 listings include the nature of the company, its contact details and the name of the Chair and Chief Executive, its community giving policy, and levels of giving (in cash and kind), employees’ or corporate charity.
