DSC aims to provide grant-funded training programmes to ensure the training needs of small and medium-sized organisations are met. The grants we secure enable us to roll out essential subsidised (often free) training across the country.
In 2007 and early 2008, DSC successfully ran a Trustee Development Programme aimed at providing new and potential trustees from the black and minority ethnic and the mental health sectors, with the skills and knowledge to be effective trustees.

Getting a Fair Deal from Contracts is for managers and trustees who are involved in bidding for, negotiating and managing contracts and service agreements between voluntary and public sector agencies. This three day introductory programme will equip you with the essential knowledge, skills and attitude to negotiate fairer contracts with public sector agencies.
