The Fundraising Programme is a partnership bringing together the strengths of two of fundraising’s leading training providers: the Directory of Social Change and the Institute of Fundraising to provide the highest standards of fundraising training.

The Fundraising Programme courses
The Fundraising Programme courses are linked to the Careerbank Framework (see the Professional Development section at www.institute-of-fundraising.org.uk)
Careerbank is the framework launched by Institute of Fundraising to help fundraisers plan and record their professional development. The Fundraising Programme has adopted the Careerbank pathway to enable you identify which fundraising courses are most relevant to your professional skills and knowledge levels.
There are three Careerpoint levels:
- Careerpoint 1 courses - Introductory level for those that are new to fundraising
- Careerpoint 2 courses - Practitioner level for practising fundraisers
- Careerpoint 3 courses - Management level, for fundraisers who currently manage or aspire to manage their organisations’ fundraising operation.

Achieving the Certificate in Fundraising Management
The Institute of Fundraising’s Certificate in Fundraising Management is the UK’s professional qualification for fundraisers. The Certificate is Certified by the European Fundraising Association and recognised across Europe as a leading fundraising qualification.
You cannot be awarded the Certificate unless you are a current member of the Institute of Fundraising.
