Cathy Shimmin

Working at DSC as a trainer and performance coach is the best job in the world. Not always because of what I do, but because of what you do as a result of the training.
I have worked with Directory of Social Change for the past 18 years in various roles but have over 20 years’ experience in learning and development through my work in voluntary sector infrastructure and support organisations in the UK and Ireland.

Currently a Senior Training Manager and Performance Coach at DSC, I work with both individuals and organisations on their communication, interpersonal and management skills (first and middle line management). I also facilitate sessions such as team or staff away days, reviewing or defining organisational vision, mission, objectives and values or creative sessions on any topic.
