Return to Play: Active Together (England)

An extra £5million has been made available through Sport England’s Return to Play: Active Together crowdfunding scheme. Sports clubs, charities and other community organisations who deliver sport or activity in England can apply for up to £10,000 in match funding to help their communities get active. To date, 475 organisations have been supported. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Find out more here.

The Faith New Deal Pilot Fund (England)

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government has announced a new £1 million fund called ‘The Faith New Deal Pilot Fund’ which aims to help faith groups support communities during COVID-19 recovery. Faith-based organsiations based in England can bid for grants of up to £200,000. To be eligible, applicants must be planning to deliver a service in partnership with local public institutions, local authorities and others, to support one of the following:

• Mental wellbeing and loneliness
• Debt Advice
• Employability
• Food Poverty
• Increasing community engagement through volunteering

Black and Minoritised Women’s Fund

Women’s Resource Centre has announced that grants of £10,000 are now available for Black and minoritised women’s organisations, led-by-and-for women, which have been impacted by the pandemic. Grants can be used for the general running costs of your organisation. To be eligible, your organisation must deliver services in England and have an annual turnover under £350,000. Applications will close at 3pm on Friday 1st October. Find out more here.
