Return to Play: Active Together

An additional £1.5m of National Lottery funding has been made available to Sport England’s Return to Play: Active Together scheme. The scheme helps sports clubs and other charitable/community organisations set up and run their own crowdfunding campaigns during the pandemic. Once the crowdfunding campaign is set up, organisations can apply for matched funding of up to 50% towards their initial crowdfunding target, up to a maximum of £10,000. Find out more.

Near Neighbours – Community Covid Relief Grants

Near Neighbours is providing Community Covid Relief Grants to organisations that are supporting communities that have been affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic. Funding is available for small projects that have a total cost of £20,000 or less, and are working to address social isolation, financial distress and digital exclusion. Applications are particularly welcomed from emerging local groups, charities, religious organisations, BAME-led organisations and other not-for-profit organisations whose focus is on local work. Mayor of London – Food Roots Incubator programme

Grants of up to £15,000 are available to new and existing food partnerships to help them grow, diversify, become more sustainable and take forward initiatives that address food insecurity. These initiatives should address local need and focus on marginalised and excluded Londoners who have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. The deadline for applications is 12pm on 18th February 2021.

The Swimathon Foundation Covid-19 Relief Fund

Grants of up to £1,000 are available to small swimming and aquatics organisations cover fixed costs or loss of revenue during the period 1st November 2020 to 31 March 2021. Applications are open from 1 February 2021. Find out more.

London Community Response – Renewal Grants

Grants of up to £50,000 are available to support the recovery and renewal of London’s communities over a year start from April 2021. Grants can be used for project funding, a partnership approach or the core costs of running an organisation. The deadline for applications is 15 February 2021. Find out more.
