John Lyon’s Charity is providing grants of up to £5,000 to create opportunities for young people to engage with arts that have been curtailed by restrictions due to Covid-19. Applications are invited from arts and cultural institutions in London with registered charity status that has previously been funded by John Lyon’s Charity; and state schools or nurseries based in the charities beneficial area in London, details of which can be found on the website. Tuesday 7 December

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has launched a £4 million fund to help suicide prevention services meet increased demand as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Grants are available to voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations in England that work to prevent suicide, particularly those that work with high-risk groups.
