About
In an era where change and uncertainty are ever present this series of connected workshops function as a comprehensive guide to building, improving, or scaling a charitable, or other not-for-profit, organisations. Each workshop will give insight, practical guidance, and examples to improve functions and processes of an organisation with the aim of improving resilience and robustness.
Each module is a standalone workshop however you will maximise your knowledge and skills by attending all six.
Who should attend?
The workshops are for anyone working in the not-for-profit sector or else wants to understand it more. It is of relevance to those moving into more senior roles, new trustees, or for those seeking to refresh their knowledge.
Outcomes
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Have a clearer understanding of the various functions and skills required to improve an organisation.
- Have a better appreciation of governance and risk.
- Have a practical approach to improving internal and external strategy and their implementation to maximise effectiveness (external) and efficiency and resilience (internal)
- Implement and invigorate existing management and leadership skills.
- Understand methods to diversify income to improve sustainability and reduce dependency.
- Have better insights on the use of communication to motivate, engage, and entail support both internally and externally (stakeholders, funders, and donors)
