Engage 2025: Navigating a Complex Policy Landscape - Online conference on Thursday 16 October
Welcome to the fifth year of Engage – DSC’s annual online conference for all those involved with influencing the people in power.
Join us for our fifth year of Engage – DSC’s annual online conference for all those wishing to influence the people in power.
This year’s conference is taking place as charities continue to navigate challenges, including rising financial pressures, constantly evolving government relationships, regulatory changes, the need to drive forward diversity, inclusion and good governance and adapting to technological and digital changes.
This conference will equip you with what you need to navigate and understand some of the challenges charities are facing, and give you tools to effect change and continue to campaign and influence for your charity and the beneficiaries you serve.
Charities are being called upon to play a role in service delivery and policy but must balance these opportunities with the need to maintain independence, sustainability, and public trust. Done right, influencing policy and politicians can be a highly effective way to bring about change for your beneficiaries and achieve lasting impact. But navigating the constantly changing policy sphere and determining the most efficient campaigning strategy and channels for your cause isn’t an easy undertaking.
Join sector experts and charity leaders for a day of discussion about the current landscape and its implications for those seeking to engage policymakers and politicians, an update on the current government and a look at what’s to come.
The day will include a mix of case studies, panel discussions and keynote sessions and help you stay up to date on changes, trends and best-practice in the ever-changing world of influencing policy and politicians.
