People's Health Trust - Avoiding Burnout: Managing wellbeing in the workplace online course

This free half-day (3 hour) online course is for funded partners of People’s Health Trust. Sessions are open to whoever is best placed to attend, for example staff, volunteers and Trustees. There is no charge to attend.

In this course we explore the responsibility of managers and leaders to look after the wellbeing of their staff. We will examine how wellbeing can be managed through timely communication and delegating authority to teams remotely and in the office.

You will learn how to handle difficult conversations, ask the right questions, and support wellbeing. These skills will help you develop your team into empowered individuals within your organisation.

  • Introduction to mental health first aid response (Mental health first aid (MHFA) is the first and immediate assistance given to any person experiencing or developing a mental health condition, such as depression or anxiety disorders, or experiencing a mental health crisis situation such as suicidal ideation or panic attack. The MHFA Response has five steps which will be covered in this course)
