DSC Zoom Talk: Feminist leadership for all: a practical introduction
Join the discussion and discover how to become a Feminist leader.
The ‘F-word’ often comes with misconceptions and can be alienating to those who don’t fully understand how to utilise it. Feminist leadership is not gender specific. Everyone can be a feminist leader.
This session will open a conversation about why transformative feminist leaders are needed to promote responsible, transparent, inclusive and positive uses of power in our sector, and manage it better as a result.
The first step is to demystify “feminist leadership”, which is not about rhetoric and jargon. This session will, give a practical introduction to Feminist leadership along with top 10 behaviours and supporting do’s and don’ts with an opportunity for discussion and debate.
If your hope is for a world where leaders enable others to lead, rather than overpowering them, this talk is for you.
Format: Panel discussion followed by Q&A with the attendees.
Panellists: Anne Jellema @AFJellema and Lillian Bogonko from Action Aid @ActionAid
Chair: Andrew Purkis @AndrewPurkis
