Weekly funding updates - 10-15 January

Tuesday 11 January

Co-operatives UK is offering support to all kinds of community businesses through its ReBoost Fund. The fund aims to help organisations prepare a community share offer, to support their recovery from COVID-19. Grants available include:

Development grants – up to £5,000 to prepare a community share offer: financial planning, governance support, marketing costs and being awarded the Community Shares Standard Mark.

Match equity investment – typically matching pound for pound up to £25,000 invested by the Booster Programme, providing that the minimum share offer target is achieved.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and grant and investment decisions are made within eight weeks of application. For more information on how to apply, visit the website.

Wednesday 12 January

Applications have opened for Sport Northern Ireland’s COVID Recovery Programme for Sports Organisations. The programme aims to reduce or remove operating deficits for eligible organisations which have arisen in the 2021/22 financial year because of the COVID pandemic. The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Friday 28th January 2022. Sport Northern Ireland will be hosting two online information sessions on Monday 17th January and Wednesday 19th January.

Thursday 13 January

Applications close this month for Museums Galleries Scotland’s Small Grants Fund. Accredited museums can apply for grants of between £300 and £15,000, and non-accredited museums can apply for between £300 and £10,000. Grants can be used to help build resilience, improve engagement, fund repairs and maintenance, and improve environmental sustainability. The deadline for the latest round of funding is 5pm on Friday 28th January. For more information and to apply, visit the website.
