Arts Council England

The second round of funding is now open for Arts Council England‘s £500 million Culture Recovery Fund. Funding is available to both profit and not-for-profit cultural organisations in England that were financially stable before COVID-19 but are now at risk. Grants range from £50,000 up to £3 million. The application deadline is 12 pm, on 4th September. Find out more and apply here.

Tesco Bags of Help

Tesco Bags of Help has set up a new fund to support communities in need during the COVID crisis. Organisations that provide services to vulnerable groups can apply for a grant of £500 to support their emergency response. Typically, the fund will support organisations that have experienced increased demand, disrupted services or those that are running new services. Applications are invited from a range of organisations including voluntary organisations, registered charities, schools, health bodies, Parish/Town councils, social enterprises, CICs, community councils, local authorities and housing organisations. Commonwealth Foundation – special grants call

Applications for the foundation’s special grants call open on 1st September 2020. Grants of £10,000 to £30,000 are available to support Commonwealth civil society organisation in their response to Covid-19. The focus will be on supporting national initiatives that aim to engage constructively with government in strengthening relevant institutions, policies and practices as communities and countries seek to recover and rebuild. Lloyds Bank Foundation – Infrastructure Fund

The foundation’s new one-off funding programme provides support to local and regional infrastructure organisations in certain geographical areas of England and Wales (details on website). The aim of the funding is to help infrastructure organisations adapt to the new environment and also develop their financial sustainability. The closing date for applications is 9th October 2020. Monday 24 August

Comic Relief’s Change Maker Programme

Comic Relief’s Change Maker programme is looking to support organisations across the UK addressing issues such as homelessness, forced migration, gender justice, mental health and early childhood development. Funding of between £150,000 and £600,000 is available for projects with a duration of 3 to 5 years. Small to medium sized organisations are eligible (see website for definitions). Applications from organisations with an annual income of over £10 million will not be accepted. The closing date for applications is 25th September. More information can be found here.
