National Events Programme

Applications have reopened for EventScotland’s National Events Programme as part of its ongoing work to support the recovery of Scotland’s tourism and events industry. Support is available for live sporting and cultural events taking place outside of Glasgow and Edinburgh. This round of funding will also be open to community-focused events.
Grants of between £2,000 and £4,000 are available for community-focused events attracting a minimum of 500 in-person attendees. Larger scale events may be able to apply for grants of between £5,000 and £25,000. The deadlines for applications are as follows:

  • 11 February 2022 for events taking place from 1 April to 31 August 2022
  • 6 April 2022 for events taking place from 1 September to 31 December 2022

National Emergencies Trust’s Local Action Fund

Funding is still available for voluntary or community organisations in the UK through National Emergencies Trust’s Local Action Fund. The trust is providing up to £10,000 match funding per project to help organisations counter financial challenges created by the Covid-19, including the inability to fundraise in the usual ways, reductions in staff and volunteers, and increased demand for their services. The fund is open to a range of organisations and projects, please check the website for more information. Applicants must have a crowdfunding project to apply for funding.
